Going to a Birthday Party!

Lucy attended her FIRST Birthday Party for a friend in her Pre-School class.  She was so excited and kept asking if it was time to go!  She had a couple of other "firsts" at the party...a tattoo and face painting...What a fun day!!

GOTCHA~10 Months!

Lucy has been with us 10 months today!!  Where has the time gone??  We cannot imagine our lives without her...she adds such charm, humor and beauty to our lives~

I decided I wanted to "clean & freshen" my blog up for the summer.  I just want it to look simple and classic for awhile.  I also LOVE the name "Our Little China Girl", and as much as Lucy has made us a family of six..I think I want to go back to my original title for awhile...so please excuse the "mess" while I re-decorate~

Happy 7th Birthday Makenna Riley!!

This past weekend my niece Makenna Riley celebrated her 7th Birthday at a FABULOUS farm. The girls were able to ride horses, feed chickens, pet goats and a mini horse. It was a beautiful day and Lucy had so much fun at her first party that wasn't for one of her brothers!

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was so special.  To have my Lucy Joy home with us is such a blessing.  I wanted to start a garden for Lucy and I to do together, so for Mother's Day, Toby and the boys built me 2 raised garden beds.  They turned out great and I am looking forward to filling them with all kinds of vegetables!

**Update**...Praise God...we just got word that the biopsy was benign...he still has more testing, but nothing quite as serious!

**Please Pray for Powell's friend Austin (the boy in the middle sitting on the truck :)...he is undergoing some very serious testing today regarding his health...this all came about the day AFTER this picture was taken.  Needless to say, each of these boys are having a very hard time grasping the situation~

Powell and his buddies headed to GameWorks for a few hours of video games to celebrate his 16th!  Toby was the VERY BRAVE chaperone!!
